Adopting Children of Color

The domestic program at Adopt International has experienced a significant increase in African American infants and is hoping to meet the needs of these children. We currently have only a few families open to an African American baby.

Adopt would like to recruit more adoptive families who are interested in adopting a child of color.

The goal is to help create same race or transracial families where a child will grow up in a permanent loving home with recognition, respect, and a connection to his or her birth culture.
