We are humbled that you’re considering us as adoptive parents for your baby. We’ve been in a committed and loving relationship for 9 years. We’re very fortunate to have found each other and as a team, we believe we’ll make great parents. We own a cheerful home in Portola Valley, CA, which is surrounded by nature and is a great place to raise kids. We share our home with our Labs, Guinness and Bubba — they’re gentle with kids and will help create a loving home for our child. We’re also part of the Stanford University community and our child will be immersed in the benefits it has to offer.
Katherine and Jeff
Hello. We hope that during this trying time you will find the support you need. We imagine that finding a happy, safe, and loving home for your baby is crucial. We’ve been together for over 17 years and have been married for over 4 years. We’re best friends and we’re constantly joking, laughing, and having a good time together. Katherine is caring, smart, funny, and honest. At home, Katherine is creative in the kitchen and likes to try out new recipes. Jeff looks forward to teaching our child how to ride a bike, swim, and other activities.
Renee and Mary Jo
We have been together for 10 years and love each other very much. Renee is from southern California and as a child she spent many summers in New Mexico with her cousins, tias and tios. Renee works for a non-profit organization placing volunteers to work in public schools. Mary Jo is originally from Erie, Pennsylvania. She is the youngest of a large family and has many nieces and nephews. Mary Jo has worked in the IT department at a large consulting firm for the past 13 years. Three years ago we adopted Josephine into our family, she is Latina and African-American. Our time with her has been truly amazing and we cannot imagine our life without her.
Karen and Jonathan
Hello! We are Karen and Jonathan. Happily married for the last eight years, we are college sweethearts, having discovered a mutual love of the outdoors. As an adoptee, Karen has always wanted to adopt. She’s a good listener—compassionate and thoughtful, and always willing to lend a hand. Jonathan currently has a flexible schedule, which is well suited to him being a stay-at-home dad.

Soon after, we bagan dating, and were married four and a half years later. We have not been able to have a baby on our own, but are very excited about the opportunity to become parents through adoption.

Hello! We live in Redwood City, California in the San Francisco Bay Area, a place of amazing natural beauty and cultural diversity. We are blessed to be part of a great neighborhood with beautiful parks, good schools and lots of wonderful families. Our home is sunny and spacious with a big backyard – just waiting for a child. Together as a family, we enjoy skiing, camping, and lots of other outdoor activities and sports. We also take advantage of the many great things in our neighborhood like the farmers’ market, family-friendly concerts in the park, the old-fashioned ice cream shop, and our annual block party with tons of kids, “bouncy houses”, good food and neighbors.

We can only imagine what it must feel like to make such a big decision about your baby’s future. We are committed to the philosophy of open adoption. The two of us met and fell in love 16 years ago and have been together ever since. We’ve settled in Hawaii because we thought it would be a great place to raise a child. We are reminded every single day by a rainbow, dramatic mountains, or turquoise waters of how lucky we are to be alive.
