We are MJ and Michael and we thank you for taking a few minutes to read our letter. We truly admire your strength and courage to make the decision to place your child for adoption. As adoptive parents, we promise to help your child understand the difficult choice that you made and that it was made out of the most special love. We appreciate you for considering us as you begin your search for the right family.

We have been together for more than 4 years, legally married on October 31, 2008, and the laughter, joy, and love we have for each other continues to grow stronger every day. One of the many things that brought us together was our strong desire to have children. We have been dreaming of having kids for as long as we can remember, and we are very committed to an open adoption where everyone is comfortable and communication is readily available.

Michael is funny, affectionate, and an amazing partner. He is a Vice President and Technology Project Manager for a large financial institution. While he is dedicated to his work and going above and beyond the call of duty, he is able to walk away at the end of the day and enjoy spending time at home with MJ and our dogs. A wonderful advantage of his position is that he works from home 100% of the time, which makes it ideal for raising a child at home.

MJ is compassionate, caring, and a wonderful partner. He is an Assistant Vice President and Communications Consultant for a large financial institution. He also works full time and is able to work from home at least two days a week. He is a very talented person who has a deep devotion and interest in the theatre, and with his incredible singing voice, he often performs in musicals. He can’t wait for story telling, coloring, and helping with homework.

We are very close with our families. MJ comes from a large family and has more than a dozen nieces and nephews. Michael has two nephews who are ages five and nine. It is a tradition to vacation once a year with each family and to get together as much as possible throughout the year. With our incredibly supportive parents and siblings, our son or daughter will be able to grow up with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends who will always be there for him or her.

The adoption of a child would fulfill our dream of starting a family. We are committed to providing a happy, loving, nurturing, and safe home for our child and we promise to make your story a part of our child’s life.
