Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn a bit more about us. We admire the courage and strength it takes to make the decision to pursue adoption. We know that whatever choice you make will be made out of love, and will be the right choice for you and your baby.

We are Danielle and Jason. We have been together for nine years and have a wonderful relationship based on love, respect, trust, and open communication. We met at work and immediately became friends. Soon after, we bagan dating, and were married four and a half years later. We have not been able to have a baby on our own, but are very excited about the opportunity to become parents through adoption.

We live in a beautiful coastal town about fifteen minutes south of San Francisco. We are surrounded by green, luscious mountains, and the beach is a five minute drive from our house. We love to hike around the mountains with our dog, Levi, and take in the stunning views. We also love to go to the beach, either to play around in the sand and water, do some fishing, or just to watch a gorgeous sunset, which we are fortunate to have many of. We are also fortunate to live in a very community oriented town. All of our neighbors are very friendly, and really watch out for each other. We also love to travel, go camping, watch movies, or just watch our cat, Archie, and Levi chase each other and play around the house.

Jason is a kind, caring, compassionate person. He has a love for the outdoors and is a huge football fan. He is a plumbing foreman for a well known mechanical contractor in San Francisco. He usually gets home from work around three o’clock every day, and has his weekends free, which allows for plenty of quality time together.

Danielle is an outgoing, warm person who is very giving of herself. She loves to cook and entertain friends and family. She also loves taking Levi to the park, baking yummy treats, and relaxing with a good book. She is a home-maker and plans to be a stay at home mom.

Our families, including extended family, all live within an hour from us. They are very supportive of our decision to adopt and are excited at the prospect of a new family member. Since Danielle was adopted herself, we believe that offers us insight to the emotions and questions that adopted children often have, and how best to handle such situations. We are eager to share our lives with a child, and to ensure that our child grows up happy in a stable family, surrounded by love and acceptance. We are also dedicated to keeping the lines of communication open, both with our child, and with our child’s birth parents.The thought of having a child of our own that we can share our lives with, travel with, go to sporting events with, or even just have dinner with as a family, is something we are so excited about. We can’t wait to teach our child about everything life has to offer, and to watch them grow and learn and become their own person, and to offer him or her love, support, and encouragement along every step of the way.
