Foremost, we would like to thank you for the care and caution you have devoted to finding a loving and secure home for your child. We admire the hope and courage it must take to consider adoption. It is our hope that during this difficult time you will receive the support you need throughout your experience. As you begin your search for the right family, we ask you to consider us.

There is so much we want you to know about us; above all our desire and commitment to become wonderful and loving parents. We met and fell in love over seven years ago and have been happily married for almost six. Following the birth of our daughter, Riley, we were not able to conceive again. However, we are so excited to grow our family through an open adoption. We feel strongly that this is the best path for us. With patience, gratitude and love our dream of growing our family will come true.

Our home is located about thirty minutes south of San Jose, California in the South Bay Area, nestled near the Santa Cruz mountains; just a short drive to the beach and ocean. Together we enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, having dinner with friends or shopping at the local farmers market with our daughter on a Saturday morning. We chose our community because it encourages and supports an active, healthy lifestyle and takes great pride in its family friendly programs, spacious parks and top rated schools. The South Bay Area also supports a multitude of cultures and broad ethnic diversity; yet another reason we choose to raise our family here.

Paul is fun, spontaneous, and energetic with a generous heart. He starts and ends each day with a smile on his face. Following the completion of his M.B.A. he continued his employment in the high tech industry; his employer supports a healthy work/life balance and encourages a flexible schedule to meet the needs of all families. Paul has a strong work ethic and prides himself on the ability to balance work, family and fun. Outside of work Paul enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his family. In addition, with Paul’s Latin heritage we enjoy the benefits of many diverse family events and vacations.

Sunny is an intelligent, kind woman with a warm heart. She is a Registered Nurse in a management position at a local hospital that provides for a flexible schedule as well. Outside of work Sunny enjoys reading, cooking and baking. She is dedicated to friends and family and, with Paul, loves entertaining, watching movies and just “hanging out” with those she is close to. Sunny finds tremendous joy in all things about being a parent; sweet good morning hugs and kisses, comforting Riley after a “boo-boo” and watching her grow and change each day. She is excited about the prospect of expanding her family with the arrival of a new baby.

Riley is an active, playful happy three year old that loves to read, color and play family with her baby dolls. She will be a fantastic big sister.

We are fortunate to have our family and friends and are thankful for what they teach and provide us. Our family and friends are eager to join the world of adoption and all it involves. They offer tremendous support for us with every choice and challenge we encounter. As parents, we will share this network of love, patience and support with our children. We promise to provide a safe, nurturing and educational environment that will allow our child to grow up confident and full of self-esteem.
