Hi, my name is Annie and I appreciate you taking the time to read my letter. I want to start by letting

you know how much I respect and admire the difficult, courageous, and loving options you are

considering for your child. I hope this letter gives you a glimpse about me and the loving family I would

provide for your child.

I have always dreamed of having a family filled with love, laughter, and travel! I grew up on the east

coast, in Massachusetts, and was raised in a close-knit family. I have three brothers and tons of cousins

who I am still super close with. When I was younger, I enjoyed all the seasons. You would have found

me apple picking during fall, sledding during winter, gardening during spring, and playing at the beach

during summer. I would not have changed these experiences for the world. Although I am living in

California, I still long for these experiences each season and travel home often to make sure that I am

not missing out. When I told my family about my plans to adopt a baby, everyone was so excited and

cannot wait to welcome and embrace a new family member.

So, back to now - as I mentioned I live in California. I love to spend my weekends out and about. I

enjoy going for walks with my friends and their kiddos. (We live close to an amazing lake with great

parks!) I look forward to taking my future child on these walks. And I also can’t wait for the park visits

and time spent together (especially on the swings). I am always on the hunt for live Cuban salsa music

and a good dance or two. I am into health and fitness. I really enjoy motivating others to make healthy

choices in their lives as well. And even though I am active, I also enjoy quiet nights at home with a good

book or a little Netflix.

During the weekdays, I work as a Principal at a small elementary school. There are so many things that I

love about my job. One of the most positive experiences for me is watching the students grow from

Transitional Kindergarten to 5th grade and really be a part of their lives. As I look to build a family what I

value about my position is the flexibility in my schedule. I am going to appreciate the shorter days,

vacations, and summers even more once I am a mother.

Lastly, about me, I love to travel. I cannot wait to share these experiences with a family. Traveling is

something I have always envisioned happening with my child. I can’t wait for the first airplane ride,

going to the beach, and playing in the sand. I enjoy learning about other cultures by engaging in

conversations, seeing all the beautiful sights while eating local food, and having the opportunity to

experience so many new places and people. It is nice to be removed from the hustle and bustle of the

day to day to “just be”. I even lived abroad in Haiti for 10 months and it was one of the best experiences

of my life so far.

I hope this short introduction provides you with a sense of who I am. I am eager to grow my family

through open adoption and am committed to raising a child with unconditional love. If you choose the

path of adoption and believe I may be the right fit for your baby I would be honored to speak with you.

I sincerely wish you strength and all the best in the decision for you and your baby.
