I began working for Bay Area Adoption Services over 18 years ago and began working for Adopt International as the agencies merged. I serve as an Adoption Home Study social worker the agency.

 

I have a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s College and a Master’s degree in Social Work from San Jose State University.

 

I believe that social work is my life vocation more than a career. I have worked in social services with various populations. My work with families built through adoption is humbling and rewarding. I am bicultural, Mexican-American, and bilingual in Spanish & English.

 

One of my favorite ways to work out is taking dance classes. I enjoy traveling, learning about other cultures, and spending time with family.
