Dear Friends of Adoption,

ADOPT needs your help. Due to current economic conditions, International programs have continued to close and domestic programs have suffered. We need the help of our adoptive families to continue providing the quality of services for which we are known.

As a licensed not-for-profit organization, 501 ©(3) we have committed the last 29 years to providing humanitarian assistance to orphanages and projects around the world that support children. We have provided help to birth parents who have made efforts to get ahead in life and needed a helping hand. We have a skilled staff; we are now facing the challenges of having to cut back.

Please help us so that we can use your funds to:

1. Continue to support children who will otherwise not be adopted, but who will remain in care throughout their youth. Let us help prepare them for independence, breaking the long cycle of poverty.

2. Support scholarships and support programs that will help young women parent their children, and for those who make these difficult adoption decisions, provide the chance to further their education and provide for their own futures.

3. Promote post adoption support to adoptive families. Children can learn more and understand more about adoption by attending fun, culturally aware events.

Also, Adopt International welcomes volunteer interns. This is a great way to earn work experience in a non-profit setting while giving back to your community.
