Hello, we are Natasha and Marcus.

 

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We admire your strength and the love it takes to make such a thoughtful and courageous decision. We hope this gives you a window into who we are, and the kind of family we dream of building.

 

We met and became friends in 2012, started dating in 2017 and were married in 2022. Our connection began as a deep friendship rooted in laughter, shared values, and a strong desire to live a life of meaning and service. In 2021 we bought a house in San Bernardino County to start our family. Over the years, our relationship has grown through life’s ups and downs, and we’ve come out stronger, more loving, and more committed than ever to building a family grounded in love, stability, and purpose.

 

Marcus is Mexican, German and Irish. He is warm, calm, and deeply compassionate. He works for a non-profit as a chef where he mentors others and often volunteers his time in the community. Marcus loves to travel around the world to see new places and try new food. He’s the kind of person that kids just gravitate toward, he listens deeply and always makes space for others to shine. He cannot wait to teach our children how to cook, create and be the person they want be.

 

Natasha is Chinese, German and Irish. Natasha loves to spend time with friends and family, travel, and try new things. Natasha graduated from CalState LA with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Natasha is a manager at a legal services technology company. Natasha spends a lot of time with her friends' children and has a close relationship with them. She volunteers to help others in the community. She is looking forward to bedtime story rituals, rainy-day art projects, and adventures with little ones in tow.

 

We both have very large families with lots of cousins, uncles and aunts. Natasha's mom lives nearby and she also has family in Hawaii, Tennessee and Arizona. We visit Natasha's family in Hawaii yearly. Most of Marcus' family lives in Southern California. Every holiday, birthday or celebration we all get together as a family. We have many wonderful friends who care about us and love spending time with them and their children; playing, laughing, and sharing special moments together, especially birthday parties. We always have so much fun celebrating! 

 

We love to travel and believe that exploring the world is one of the best ways to grow. Whether it's a train ride up the coast or a cultural festival in another country, we seek out opportunities for learning and connection wherever we go. As a couple, we have visited Japan, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Scotland and Costa Rica. We are looking forward to adventures with our child to make beautiful, joy-filled memories along the way. 

 

We’ve always wanted to be parents. We have struggled with infertility over the past 3 years. Though the path to building our family hasn’t been simple, it has made us even more committed to adoption and to giving a child the kind of life that honors their unique story and roots. 

 

Our commitment to you is to love your child with all our hearts, every single day. We will protect them, help them grow, and fill their life with joy, laughter, learning and love. We will nurture their curiosity, support their education, and help them discover their unique gifts. We will explore the world together through books, adventures, and travel. We value open adoption and are committed to building a strong relationship with our child's birth family.
